Who controls your information

Pure Pixel Editorial Ltd, trading through toptellypurepixel.asia, is the controller of personal information described in this policy. A controller decides why and how personal information is used. Contact our privacy lead at [email protected] or write to Editorial Building, Deansgate, Manchester M3 2BW, United Kingdom.

Information we collect

When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, subject and message. Please do not submit confidential information that is unnecessary for your enquiry. Our hosting environment may also process technical data required to deliver and secure the website, including an internet protocol address, browser information, requested page, referring page and security logs.

The site stores your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage. If you enable functional storage, that preference is also recorded locally. The site does not deploy analytics tags. We do not ask visitors to create accounts, and we do not use the site to collect payment details.

Why we use information

We use contact information to read, manage and answer messages. Our legal basis under UK data protection law is normally legitimate interests: operating an editorial website, responding to genuine enquiries, correcting material and protecting the service. Where a request concerns steps towards a contract, we may process the information because it is necessary to handle that request.

Technical records may be used to serve pages, maintain availability, diagnose faults, resist malicious traffic and investigate security incidents. Essential local storage records your cookie decision so the banner does not repeatedly interrupt you. Optional functional storage operates only after your choice.

Processors and disclosures

Service providers may process limited information on our behalf when they supply website hosting, email delivery, infrastructure security or technical support. They may act only under contractual instructions, must protect the information and may not use it for unrelated purposes. We may also disclose information where law requires it, where a court gives a valid order or where disclosure is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share contact details with film studios, distributors or streaming services for their marketing.

International transfers

A technical provider may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data protection law requires a transfer safeguard, we use an approved mechanism such as an adequacy regulation or contractual clauses, together with supplementary protections where appropriate. Visitors in the European Economic Area receive equivalent consideration under the General Data Protection Regulation.

Retention and security

We keep contact correspondence only while it remains useful for handling the enquiry, maintaining an appropriate editorial record or meeting legal obligations. Security logs are kept for a limited operational period and may be retained longer when needed to investigate an incident. We then delete or anonymise information when there is no continuing purpose.

We use proportionate organisational and technical controls, including access restrictions and secure service configuration. No internet transmission or storage method can guarantee absolute security, so send only information needed for your request.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal information; object to processing; receive portable data; or complain to a regulator. UK visitors may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact us first if you want us to address a concern.

People covered by the GDPR have the rights provided by that regime. California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including rights to know, delete or correct covered personal information and to receive equal service after making a request. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Requests and changes

Email the privacy contact with enough detail to identify your request. We may ask for proportionate evidence of identity before disclosing or deleting information. We may update this policy when our practices or legal duties change. The version published on this page governs use of the site from publication.
